Widow Skimmer*

When the dragonflies start showing up, you know summer has arrived. This year began with a Widow Skimmer who became quite attached to hanging around our front door. I decided I better immortalize him while I had the chance.

This is a 3 x 3 inch Pen and Ink illustration on Strathmore Windpower series watercolor paper. It's framed in a pine redwood stained desk frame, that measures approx 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. Or you could attached a sawtooth hanger and turn it into wall art.
